Lalonde Law is a forward thinking law firm based in the
East Kootenay region of British Columbia, with offices in
Cranbrook and Fernie.
Prior to beginning his legal career, Jamie founded and operated a hardwood flooring company in his hometown of Calgary, Alberta. After completing his articles with Miles, Zimmer & Associates, Jamie joined the firm as a partner. Jamie then started Lalonde Law in 2022. Jamie has a general practice that includes both litigation and solicitor work. He has successfully represented clients in all levels of court in British Columbia, including the Provincial Court, Supreme Court, and Court of Appeal.
In his spare time, Jamie enjoys spending time with his children, snowboarding, practicing judo and Brazilian jiu-jitsu, mountain biking and playing music.

Phyllis started her legal career in 2012 in The Netherlands. She got her degrees in law from Dutch universities and practiced as a lawyer from 2014 to 2018. She moved to Canada in 2021 with her husband to chase adventure and start a life in the beautiful East-Kootenays.
In her spare time, Phyllis enjoys running, camping, reading, travelling the world, and spending time with her husband, dog and cats.

Viola is bringing her years of office assistant experience to Lalonde Law. She also worked as a program coordinator to help participants gain employment skills before coming to the firm.
In her spare time, Viola has participated in many community theatre musical productions. She loves spending time with her family and many activities the Kootenay region offers.
Prior to joining Lalonde Law, Jen worked at a small civil litigation firm in Vancouver. Born and raised in Cranbrook, Jen is happy to be back in the Kootenays after living in the Lower Mainland for ten years.
In her spare time, Jen enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. She also loves baking, reading, and going on adventures with her dog.
Prior to starting with the firm, Carly worked in health care as a care aide and support worker.
In her spare time, Carly enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys. Camping, crafting, laughing, and spending time adventuring are among Carly’s favorite activities.
